“Moscú” es una popular barriada caraqueña ubicada en al Oeste de la ciudad en la zona de San Martin, sus espacios publicos estan siendo mejorados para un mejor disfrute de los mismos por parte de la comunidad.

"Moscow"is a popular neighborhood in Caracas located west of the city in the San Martin area, its public spaces are being improved for better enjoyment of them by the community.

Esta idea surge como una inquietud  nuestra y de la Alcaldía Metropolitana de Caracas de mantener viva de alguna manera nuestras culturas aborígenes, y por supuesto su Arquitectura, la cual además de tener el valor como acervo cultural, es de gran valor estético y por si fuera poco además es una respuesta absolutamente adaptada a al clima del trópico.. 

This idea arises from us and the Caracas City Hall, from the concern to keep alive in some way our aboriginal cultures, and of course their Architecture, which besides its value as cultural heritage, is also of great aesthetic value and to top it off quite well suited  as a response to tropical climate.

Estructura del Tapiri / Tapiri structure

Originalmente los Yanomamis construyen sus Tapiris como una vivienda provisional utilizada durante los largos periodos de caza o recolección. Un Tapiri Yanomami no es mas que un techo de palma muy alto e inclinado, su principal particularidad es un estructura triangular. Los materiales utilizados son los que los indígenas tienen a la mano, los que les da la selva, hojas de palma, y mamure que es una fina y resistente liana, para amarrar la estructura. En nuestro caso esta “selva de concreto” nos provee de otros materiales industriales para nuestra parte estructural, y para el techo si hemos tomado de la selva la fibra de “Chiquichique”, una palma que crece al sur del Orinoco, y que nos garantiza una larga duración y gran frescura bajo techo ya que por ser un material natural se puede decir que “respira”, dejando salir el calor.

Originally the Yanomami build their Tapiris as temporary shelters for long periods of hunting or gathering. The Yanomami Tapiri is nothing more than a high thatched roof and tilted, its main feature is a triangular structure. The materials used are what indigenous people have on hand, those which are given by the forest, palm leaves, and mamure, which is a fine and sturdy vine, to tie the structure. In our case this "concrete jungle" provides us with other industrial materials for our structural part, and to roof  we take from the forest the "chiquichique" fiber, a palm that grows South of the Orinoco, and which guarantees long life and freshness as it is a natural material, it can be said that the roof "breathes", letting out heat.

Es nuestro principal objetivo llevar este conocimiento sobre la cultura de nuestros pueblos indígenas a cada rincón del país, sacar esta sabiduría ancestral de los libros y museos, y llevarla a la gente, y en especial a los todos los barrios caraqueños,  para que la disfrute y viva.

Our main objective is to bring this aboriginal knowledge of the indigenous ancestors to every corner of the country, taking this ancient wisdom from books and museums, and taking it to the people, and especially to all the neighborhoods of Caracas, for them to enjoy it  and live it!
